Fresh Kiwi · AI consultancy
Capability AI isn't about doing existing work better. It's about demand your organisation has already given up on: the tender you don't bid on, the documentation that only exists in one language, the support request that arrives outside office hours. We map that gap and test whether AI changes the answer.
Perspective
Nobody inventories work they've already decided they can't afford. A tender team that bids on one in four tenders because qualifying the other three costs a week each. Service documentation that exists in one language only, so some accounts get a worse product. A support desk that works well within office hours and not at all outside them. An account team with a real briefing for the top 20 clients and nothing for the rest. That's exactly why this can't be a chapter of the Efficiency AI Audit: the audit asks about recently observed work, and by construction that question can't see this.
Overview
| Step | What happens | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Scoping call | Sponsor, scope, and what "we can't do that today" already costs. Go/no-go. | 30 min |
| 2. Demand-evidence pull | We pull what the systems already know: declined requests, lost deals, SLA breaches, backlog, complaints. | ~1 day |
| 3. Capability session | 90–120 minutes with 6–12 people from commercial, delivery and operations together. | 2 hrs |
| 4. Validation interviews | 4–6 conversations with the owners of the turned-away demand: is the gap real, would anyone buy the closed version? | ~1 day |
| 5. Capability cases | Gates → tier → V/S/F → readiness → economics. Configure/buy/build is settled before any build option is priced. | ~1.5 days |
| 6. Management readout | Capability portfolio, cases and one recommended first capability, including the honest "not now" and "buy this instead" lines. | 90 min |
Capabilities
The gaps we investigated, ranked and evidenced, including the ones we deliberately did not take forward.
Per gap: what leaving it unaddressed already costs, what closing it takes, and what that is worth.
For every gap, we establish whether an existing product already closes it, before any build option is priced.
A concrete next step, plus the gaps we recommend leaving alone for now and why.
Engagement model
Both variants have a fixed price. You get it in the qualification call.
Perspective
Capability AI is not for an organisation with no identifiable, currently-unserved demand. If you can't point to demand you're already turning away, delaying or rationing, there is no gap yet to investigate. Start with the Efficiency AI Audit instead, or wait until that demand shows up.
Next step
A short conversation is enough to tell whether there's a real capability engagement here.
